The Fizik Mistica saddle is designed to be short and stout with a deep pressure relief groove. The saddle surface features a very grippy textured rubber, which is meant to hold a slippery rider in place, and it does a very good job at that. The grippy surface is also important, as there is actually a relatively small area to rest your pelvis upon.
